Home-cooked, Healthy, and Delicious
Tasty, healthy food is an important part of the boarding school life. Webb’s chef and the dining hall staff prepare locally sourced, fresh food daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menu items are typically repeated monthly, ensuring there’s always something new to try at every meal. Webb’s chef tailors the menu to appeal to high-schoolers' tastes (yes, we have chicken nuggets and french fries) and includes foods from across the country and around the world including cuisine from the Caribbean, African, Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Japanese, and, of course, Mexican, to name just a few! Vegetarian options are available at every meal.
Breakfast
A hot breakfast is offered every morning, accompanied by fresh, whole-grain breads, bagels, assorted cereals, yogurt, and more. Bagels, bread, cream cheese, and PB&J are available at breakfast and throughout the day.
Mid-morning snacks
snacks include milk, soy milk, chocolate milk, fruit juices, a selection of fruit, granola bars, and more.
Snacks, coffee, and tea are available throughout the day.
Lunch
Lunch is always exciting, with themed meals like “Sushi Day” and “Taco Tuesday” and the daily standards, including a multi-choice noodle bar (choose your noodles, choose your toppings), an extensive salad bar, two homemade soups, a sandwich station, and a panini station with premade paninis to grill on-demand. Many students eat in Price Dining Hall or outside at the patio tables. Al’s Patio, located behind Price Dining Hall, is another lunch station offering grilled sandwiches, sides, salads, and chips.
Dinner
Dinners include cafeteria-style options and family-style community dinners throughout the week.
Dessert is served at lunch and dinner. Options include cookies, cake, and churros, and soft serve ice cream is available one day a week.
