Webb’s 100+ year history of college placement speaks for itself and we pride ourselves on working with each student and their family to identify a range of schools that ensure each student’s continued academic success after Webb.
Hector Martinez, Dean of College Guidance, explains Webb’s approach to the college guidance process.
Our first task is to engage with and deeply understand each student’s hopes, passions, and dreams. This determines the extensive information we need to search, gather, and share about the college selection process with the student and their family. We create carefully curated, customized lists of schools for each student to choose from. Every school on the list is selected to match the students’ interests and ensure their academic success after Webb.
Representatives from over 100 colleges and universities across the country visit the Webb campus each year, giving students the opportunity to learn directly about an array of colleges and speak directly with admission decision-makers.
