Jamila Everett has been the Director of Admission and Financial Aid at The Webb Schools in Claremont, California since 2016. Jamila came to the Webb Schools after two decades in admission leadership roles at Pitzer College, the California Institute of Technology and the University of Southern California. Everett earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Master’s degree in Communication Management from USC’s Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. She earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from UCLA. Her scholarship focused on research and leadership principles to improve practices throughout the K-16 educational continuum. Jamila’s research entitled “Recruiting Women to Engineering Programs: College Admission Leaders’ Perceptions of Promising Practices and Strategies” has served as a model for best practices for STEM recruitment initiatives nationally. Everett leads the Admission office in developing practices for recruitment, application review, and financial aid.
Jeff Stodgel

Jeff joined the Webb community in 2009. In addition to serving on the Admission and Financial Aid Committees, Jeff has coached baseball and been a freshman and sophomore advisor, as well as a member of the weekend activities team. Prior to Webb, Jeff was in the financial industry following his professional playing career with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise/Sports Science and Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine, where he also served as Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. In his free time, Jeff enjoys lake trips with his family and friends, golfing, and is an avid Los Angeles Kings fan.
Sarah Garcia
Senior Associate Director of Admission

Sarah joined Webb in 2016. Her prior work was in the world of college admissions, where she recruited international and out-of-state students. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from St. Olaf College and a Master of Arts in English from California State Polytechnic University Pomona. Prior to this, Sarah attended a boarding school in England where she remembers with fondness the dichotomy of strict guidelines and playful pranks. With one brother belonging to the Webb School of California, Class of 2006, and the other brother being married in the Vivian Webb Chapel in 2005, now Sarah’s favorite place on campus due to its serenity, Sarah feels at home at Webb and is happy to return to a boarding community. She believes in the healthy relationship between hard work and fun. Sarah finds personal significance in the Honor Code at Webb, her life motto being that sometimes you have to do the things you don’t want to do, in order to become the person that you want to become.
Holly Arnold
Associate Director of Admission

Holly joined the Admission Office in 2023. Holly graduated from Elmhurst University in Illinois with a major in Political Science and has a graduate degree in Public Administration along with a Graduate Certificate in the Management of Nonprofit Organizations from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Most recently she worked at the Claremont Graduate University, Drucker School of Management where she served as the Associate Director of Admission and lead recruiter for the school’s management and specialized master’s and PhD programs.
Emma grew up in California and enjoys everything surf, sand, and sun! Prior to joining Webb, Emma worked in the world of law as a legal assistant at a family law firm in Pasadena, CA. Emma’s passion for helping others inspired her to move into the educational field to make a difference. Emma is currently studying for her degree in Organizational Management, with the goal of continuing her professional career within education. Joining Webb in August 2021, Emma loves the genuine connection of community that Webb provides, making it feel like a home away from home.
Brian Brim
Assistant Director of Admission

Brian joined the Webb community after nine years of working in college admissions. Before Brian returned home to California, he started his admissions journey at his alma mater, Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, before transitioning to the University of Redlands. His prior work mainly focused on recruiting and accessibility for first-generation students of color. Brian’s educational background is in the sciences; however, Brian became very passionate about bridging the gap between first-gen students and quality education. Aside from his work initiatives, Brian loves traveling, concerts, the Lion King, and all things Marvel.
