359 Webb.exe advance to robotics Regional competition

After an incredible performance at the Interleague Tournament this weekend in Palmdale, CA, robotics team 359 Webb.exe is headed to the Regional competition in March.
Webb’s three robotics teams—359 Webb.exe, 358 Gaulbots, and 19888 Alfatech—took on 25 teams from around Southern California at the Interleague Tournament.

359 Webb.exe won the day’s competition with their partner team 7767 Blueprints. Their robot earned the four highest scores of the day. The team was also runners-up for the Inspire Award, which is awarded to the team demonstrating the best all-around engineering process. “359’s creativity, design, reliability, and support of other teams impressed the judges, earning them this impressive recognition,” said robotics advisor Andrew Hamilton.

358 Gaulbots, a team that combines rookie and veteran talent, earned two 100-point games and ended only two matches away from facing 359 in the final. Rookie team 19888 Alfatech won two of five matches and finished 15th out of 28 teams.

Way to go, Webbies! Good luck at Regionals.
