Reason #1
Webb is serious about creating a unique, challenging curriculum through our Advanced Studies classes that stimulate and appeal to high school students. Classes at Webb are more similar to what you experience in a small liberal arts college than in a traditional high school. Exciting courses include:
Honors Stories and Strategies of Entrepreneurs
Advanced Studies Gothic and Horror Literature and Culture
Advanced Studies Biotechnology
Advanced Studies Paleontology
New Media Culture and Communication
Advanced Studies Chinese Language and Culture
Filmmaking Studio
Shakespeare Through Performance
Principles of Financial Mathematics
Advanced Courses in Computer Science (with Harvey Mudd College)
Reason #2
We have amazing teachers who are experts in working with high school-aged students and who love their jobs. 90% of our teachers hold advanced degrees, and many have been at Webb for 10+ years.
Reason #3
Webb prepares you for success after high school. We have 100+ years of placing students at the finest colleges and universities and work to find the best for YOU and your interests.

Reason #4
282 days of sunshine a year!
Reason #5
Location, location, location! Webb’s location in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains offers hikes in the mountains and skiing in the winter, 30 minutes away. SoCal beaches are less than an hour away as is the vibrant, diverse city of Los Angeles, home to many of the world’s finest museums, performance spaces, athletics teams, and restaurants. Disneyland is less than an hour away!
Reason #6
Location, location, location! California’s incredible national and state parks are part of Webb’s learning beyond our campus. Whether it’s rock climbing at Joshua Tree National Park, wading in a once-in-a-lifetime lake in Death Valley, hiking the Grand Canyon in nearby Arizona, summiting Half Dome in Yosemite, or digging for fossils in Barstow, Webb’s location for learning out-of-doors is unique.
Reason #7
Webb is super easy to get to. LAX International Airport connects with everywhere in the world and is an hour away from Webb’s campus. Ontario International Airport is 20 minutes from Webb’s entrance with direct flights from cities around the world including New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas. International direct flights to Ontario include Taipei City, San Salvador, and Guadalajara. Better yet, Webb helps all students arrange transport to and from area airports!
Reason #8
You won’t get lost in the crowd at Webb. Our school is intentionally small to create a caring, educational community where we live together and learn together every day.
Reason #9
We 💙 our alumni! With nearly 5,000 alumni worldwide, nearly everywhere you go, you’ll have a fellow Webbie close by. Webb alumni return to campus each fall for Alumni Weekend, share their career advice and experience at current Webbies at Junior College Night, and even come back to Webb to teach (Mr. Hoe ’04 and Mr. Allan ’94, we’re talking about you!).
Reason #10
Let’s go back to the weather. When it is below zero in January in the northeast, Claremont averages 62 for a high and 41 for a low (brrr) with 5 days of rain. Not bad!
